What to Expect From our Greencare Technician

There are a few tick species commonly found in Singapore. Many of them can cause skin irritation, but they can also cause a variety of medical problems for you, your family, and even your pets.

Ticks are hard to control because they live in areas with dense vegetation such as woods or areas with a lot of bushes. Often an infestation can go unnoticed until they show up on pets or people. If you have a yard, keeping your grass short and removing weeds can help. Greencare will inspect, treat, and monitor your home to keep ticks from hanging around.

Controlling Ticks Based on Science

Ticks can hitch a ride back home and thus can be hard to control. Greencare will continue to work with you to identify ways to reduce the chances of bringing ticks back home. Our tick control technicians work to deliver unique solutions that are based on science.

With highly rigorous training and advanced technology, our Greencare technician will look for conditions that invite ticks, such as wooded areas or yards with leaf debris, and give advice on how to keep the ticks outside or remove them safely.

By using science, research, technology and training, ticks don’t stand a chance against Greencare.

Step One: Inspect

Our Greencare technician can provide a tick inspection for your home. In addition to looking for current infestation problems, our technician can also check for areas where ticks like to hang out, like wooded areas, tall grass, or even areas with high moisture.

Step Two: Implement

After the initial inspection is complete, our technician will discuss a comprehensive pest control plan with you. Part of the plan will include the proper treatment of areas frequented by ticks without harming your pets. Our Greencare technician can also advise you on possible ways to prevent ticks from hitchhiking back into your home.

Step Three: Monitor

After the first treatment, our Greencare technician can create an ongoing tick treatment plan as well as advise on how to help keep ticks at bay. Because of weather changes, your tick treatment may have to be reapplied periodically based on your unique situation.
